In ambient temperatures, FLC expression is quantitatively modulated by a chromatin silencing mechanism involving alternative polyadenylation of antisense transcripts. In Arabidopsis thaliana, quantitative variation in expression of FLOWERING LOCUS C ( FLC) influences the timing of flowering. I haven't tried it yet but I want to someday.The basis of quantitative regulation of gene expression is still poorly understood. Some people use inkfrog, I guess it's kind of like an online turbo lister. The only problem I have with it is importing pictures into the program is hella slow. Once you get a few templates made for your common items you can churn out listings pretty quickly. However, with the way the csv upload templates work it's really better if you have a lot of items in one category, if all of your items are in different categories, file exchange is not what you want since you pretty much need to use a different csv file for each category. If you're comfortable with coding you can dive in to the file exchange pages and read some of the documentation, it's pretty good. I hacked together something a couple years back with node-webkit, a couple excel files, and a mouse tracking and playback program that works but it's clunky and I really don't remember exactly how I did it. For uploading pictures you use their API almost like an FTP upload.
